   All foreign citizens visiting Russia need to have a valid Russian visa to enter and/or leave the country. To obtain a Russian tourist visa you first need to have a tourist invitation. Tourist visas can be valid for up to 1 month. The invitation comprises a tourist voucher and a reservation confirmation, which can only be issued by specially authorized travel agency, registered in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). You can apply for a Russian visa support online through Visaru.com. The invitation and the voucher will be prepared the next business day (US$29} and sent to you by fax to any country in the world. To obtain your visa, present the invitation and voucher at any Russian Embassy or Consulate worldwide. To apply for a tourist Russian visa you need to bring the following:
   1. Confirmation of hotel arrangements from authorized Russian travel company (the invitation and voucher from Visaru.com), showing reference number and confirmation number for the visa (a fax, in most of the consulates).
   2. Photocopy of the vita] information pages of your valid passport (showing Name, Birth Date, Passport Number, Expiration Date).
   3. Three photos (3 by 4 cm), a filled-in visa application form (available in the consulate).
   4. A visa application fee (depends on the type of visa and the time of processing). It's always better to check with the consulate beforehand what documents they need exactly. After you submit all the documents and papers needed it should take the consulate from
   I to 21 days to make a visa, depending on how much you pay. All Russian Visas should be registered upon arrival to the Russian Federation. Your Russian visa must be registered within 72 hours of arrival (excluding weekends and official holidays). You can register your visa in St.Petersburg A registration fee is $23.
   The total visa expenses include: payment for an invitation (paid to Visaru.com), visa application fee (paid to a Russian consulate, visa registration fee (paid upon arrival to Russian authorities agency)
